Meet Dr. Don
Dr. Don Walsh, DC, FIAMA is the Clinic Director of New Smyrna Spine & Injury Center. Dr. Don graduated from The University of North Florida with a degree in Biology and a Minor in Psychology. While there he was able to conduct independent research in the salt water marshes of the Jacksonville area. After graduating he continued right into Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida. Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida is part of the Palmer College of Chiropractic System based in Davenport, Iowa. Palmer is the original Chiropractic school founded by D.D. Palmer who also founded Chiropractic. Dr. Don graduated from Palmer Florida with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with Cum Laude honors and was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award and Clinical Teaching Award by his professors. While in clinic there Dr. Don was able to travel to Fiji to provide Chiropractic care for the Fijian people.
Since graduation Dr. Don has continued his education. He has earned his Fellowship with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and will earn his Diplomate in a short time. He is a certified Cox Decompression Adjustment and Manipulation Technique practitioner. Dr. Don has earned his Advanced Whiplash and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury from Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He continues to take classes on automobile accident injuries and treatment options, MRI/CT interpretation, triaging the trauma patient, documentation of the trauma patient and countless others. He has taken post-doctoral classes from Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Don is an accredited presenter by the Florida Bar to present attorneys continuing legal education (CLE’s).
He is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and Harvard Post-Doctoral Association.
